Miyo Strong iS a Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt under Johnny Carlquist and James Gardner of Unified Jiu Jitsu.

Miyo is a multiple-time Master World Champion in the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation, holding titles at purple and brown belt for both gi and no gi: Miyo is undefeated in submission-only super fights and has one amateur MMA fight on her record.

She is a fully certified strength and conditioning coach with Gym Jones, and she is also Tricom weapons system certified under Jared Wihongi. Miyo brings a trauma-informed approach to all of her training modalities.

A busy mother to two incredible daughters, Miyo also runs a successful photography business and has a Master's and Craftsman degree in
